Ray Bertsch
In 1996, Ray Bertsch took over Peninsula Fire from his father, Dalton Bertsch. Eager to step into ownership, Ray hit the ground running and built the company into what it is today. What once began as a small, home-based business has now grown into a storefront in Poulsbo, WA. Ray has always taken pride in running Peninsula Fire with honesty and integrity, values that continue to shape the company’s reputation. As Ray shares, “It is so great and wonderful to have a family business where I get to see my daughter and grandson daily.” When he’s not working, Ray enjoys spending time with his classic cars, being out on his boat, and camping with family and friends.

Tonia Michaud
Tonia Michaud proudly represents the third generation of her family to step into the ownership role at Peninsula Fire. Growing up, it was normal for her to answer the home phone with “Peninsula Fire,” though she never imagined she would one day lead the business herself. After much thought and reflection, Tonia realized she couldn’t imagine anyone else owning her family’s company. Embracing the opportunity, she is now carrying forward the Peninsula Fire legacy with pride and dedication. Outside of work, Tonia enjoys spending time with her husband and two children. She loves camping, traveling, and making memories with her family.
